Therapy Intensives for The Overwhelmed Professional
Virtual throughout Texas | In-person availability in Killeen/Harker Heights
You’ve been carrying a lot.
Maybe it’s time to put some of it down.
You’re successful. Responsible. Dependable. You're probably the person everyone else counts on.
But being capable of carrying something doesn’t mean you have the capacity to keep carrying it.
At work, you're leading, solving problems, making decisions, caring for others, and getting things done. At home, there may be another entire group of people depending on you.
From the outside, you may look like you're doing just fine.
Inside? You're tired.
You know it logically and remind yourself:
I can't control everything.
Everybody isn't my responsibility.
Rest isn't lazy.
I don't have to be perfect.
It's okay to say no.
And logically, you believe those things.
But emotionally? Something hasn't caught up yet.
That's one reason I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping) into Therapy Intensives.
We can explore both what you're thinking and what you're still carrying emotionally.
Therapy Intensives Explained

Your Therapy Intensive Experience
01 — Personalized Therapeutic Workbook
Before your pre-intensive session, you'll receive a personalized therapeutic workbook designed to help me learn more about you, what you've been carrying, and what you'd like to change. Your responses will guide our pre-intensive conversation, help us identify patterns and areas that may need deeper exploration, and allow us to develop clear, individualized goals for your Therapy Intensive collaboratively.
02 — 90-Minute Pre-Intensive Session
Before your intensive, we'll review your workbook and identify what you're experiencing, what you'd most like to address, and what you hope will be different as a result of our work.
03 — Three-Hour Private Therapy Intensive
This is our dedicated time for deeper therapeutic work. Your intensive is individualized rather than following a one-size-fits-all formula. I use EFT/Tapping to help us get through the heavy lifting, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, reflection, psychoeducation, Christ-centered therapy as requested, and breaks as clinically appropriate. You can read more about EFT/Tapping here.
04 — Refreshments
In-person intensive clients will have refreshments and snacks available so that you don't have to worry about the little things while you're doing important work. Virtual clients will receive a snack pack in the mail.
05 — 60-Minute Post-Intensive Integration Session
We'll reconnect after your intensive to process what has emerged, reinforce insights, evaluate progress, and discuss your next steps.

Why Therapy Intensives Work Differently
Sometimes the issue isn't that therapy isn't working—you simply need more room to do the work.
In a traditional therapy session, just as you begin getting beneath the surface, it may already be time to wrap up. A Therapy Intensive gives us extended, intentional time to slow down, stay with what is coming up, and explore the thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and patterns connected to what you've been carrying.
