Who This Is For
I work with hardworking women who are carrying a lot and quietly feeling the weight of it all. Many of my clients are working moms balancing career demands, motherhood, marriage, faith, and the constant mental load of keeping everything together. They often look capable on the outside but feel disconnected, overwhelmed, and like a failure on the inside.
The Specifics: Who This Work Is a Good Fit For
I work primarily with Christian working moms throughout Texas. The women who reach out to me are intelligent, compassionate, dependable, and the people everyone counts on. They have spent so much time taking care of everyone else that they've slowly stopped taking care of themselves. From the outside, they look like they have it all under control. On the inside, they're mentally exhausted.
Most are carrying the invisible mental load of faith and motherhood—the ministry events, appointments, meals, deadlines, household responsibilities, wondering if they are pleasing God, and the constant guilt of not doing enough.
What usually brings them to therapy isn't one major event. It's the slow realization that they don't recognize themselves anymore.
You may find yourself wondering:
Why am I so tired all the time, even after I sleep?
Why do I feel guilty whenever I take time for myself?
Why do I feel so unhappy if I know I’m so blessed?
Why do I feel like I'm failing no matter how much I accomplish?
Why don't I enjoy the things I used to love?
Why do I feel distant from my husband...and even from God?
Is this just what motherhood is supposed to feel like?
I know what I should do...so why can't I actually do it?
With support, the Christian working moms I serve often begin to release the pressure to do it all perfectly. They learn to embrace healthy boundaries, reconnect with the woman God created them to be, and make decisions from a place of wisdom instead of guilt or burnout. As they grow, they discover that life doesn't have to feel like constant survival—they can experience greater peace, renewed purpose, and the confidence to thrive in both their faith and everyday life.
My practice may not be the right fit if you are seeking couples counseling as a standalone service, court-ordered evaluations, inpatient or crisis-level psychiatric care, detoxification or treatment for active substance withdrawal, 24/7 crisis stabilization, or immediate safety monitoring. Additionally, if you are looking for a completely secular therapy experience with no faith-informed perspective or branding, another provider may better align with your preferences.
When This May Not Be The Righ Fit
My Counseling Approach & Modalities
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, honesty, and hope. I understand that life is full of seasons, and while adjusting to a new season can be difficult, I believe it is possible to move through it with the right support, practical tools, and a willingness to grow. My goal is to create a space where you can say all the things you’re afraid to say out loud in church, a space where you can talk honestly, let it all out, and leave each session with encouragement and strategies you can begin using in your everyday life.
While I offer Christian counseling and thoughtfully integrate biblical principles into our work together, I also believe God has provided evidence-based therapeutic approaches that can be powerful tools for healing and growth. Therapy with me is both faith-informed and practical. I don't believe you have to choose between trusting God and using proven therapeutic techniques—you can do both. Depending on your goals and preferences, I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping), Client-Centered Counseling, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help you better understand yourself, overcome obstacles, and create lasting change.
You can expect a counseling experience that is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth with a little bit of storytelling. I'll celebrate your victories, gently challenge unhelpful patterns when needed, and make room for laughter along the way because healing isn't just about surviving—it's about learning to thrive in the season you're in while preparing with confidence for the one ahead.
